how much boost could stock twin cam pistons handle. also why do people use single cam pistons on thier ka twin cam

The golden rule when doing anything turbocharging-related is, "if you really have to ask, do you think you should be doing it?"

To answer your question, the amount of "boost" the pistons can handle is all relative. Depends on how you tune, how you drive your car... But they say usually around 350-ish. It's debatable. Do more research.

SOHC pistons in a DOHC make the DOHC high compression. I don't know the numbers from the top of my head, but I know they differ from 89 to 91. There's lots of info about it. Just quick google for "KA24E pistons in KA24DE" or "SOHC pistons KA24DE" or something like that...

stock dohc pistons are junk. the rings will go on you with the quickness if you dont have it tuned. id say u can maybe get away with 250 with good tuning.
you will need to get forged pistons to be safe and FTW!
rods can hang up to 350 i heard. not if thats to the crank or to the wheel.
