I'd give it a chance and still go see it. I don't remember the original Alien Vs. Predator books but I do remember when they picked up the asian girl off the desert planet and Alien Vs. Predator War (i think that was the name of it) when she crashed the ship onto the forest planet. So like I said I'd give it a chance for it being somewhat alike.

Humans are always there for cannon fodder and hosts, there isn't much to avoid there. Marines will be sent in to kill everything using Weyland Corp weapons so everyone can smile. Then they will all blow up because it would interfer too much with the story line of Alien and Aliens

I'm dissappointed with all these horror/sci fi figure VS horror/sci fi figure movies....the first AVP sucked, this will too, Freddy VS Jason was fucking horrible....

Chucky VS The Leprechaun bitches...it needs to happen....PURE comedy...

or Michael Myers VS Jason....

the first 5 min actually looks pretty decent. hopefully it makes enough so they get a bigger budget so they can finally do the series justice

i.e. colonial marines, aliens timeline, no more of this present day bullshit

yeah it does look like it has potential to be a great popcorn movie, but I have no expectations beyond that. the guy's arm falling off w/out gore was not a good sign, but its better than nothing.

I don't see why the preds are taking out random humans considering they have an Alien infestation on their hands, if anything I would think they would side w/ the humans after the first one.

^i think its because mostly every human is holding a gun........ at least in the preview. so i'm assuming the preds consider them a threat.
