You fail.
btw, wheels are performance. heavy ass wheels weigh like 30 pounds each (like 57s pro, mine i think are about 28.xx or some crap in 18x10) yes they cost a lot too but they look real nice imo. other wheels are super light like the te's. Te's are lets just say 18 pounds per wheel (slightly high estimate i believe). and let's say my wheels are 25 pounds each. so... 18x4 = 72 pounds compared to 100 pounds. that's 28 pounds right there that you save. lightened flywheel weighs about 10 pounds less than a regular flywheel and look at how much performance you gain there from losing that weight (keep in mind this is rotational mass). now imagine 28 pounds less of rotational mass for good TEs. of course, i don't think the wheels spin at 7,000 rpm but still, i think you can see my point. and this is not to mention the traction you can get from wider wheels + wider tires.... so what's the moral of my story?? don't be cheap and ghetto |

I am stoked you are going the LS1 route and I second the notion of RPF1 not only because they are light, strong, easily replaced AND they are not that expensive as comparable wheels (light/strong) but you can also get over the decision quickly and move on to other things like doing the actual swap and settling on some suspension improvements.
good luck man. unless you find some used wheels that are perfect for you, just buy some RPF1s brand new and dont look back.
