I humped a curb not to long ago. After that, my trunk release does not operate from the inside of the S14 anymore (As well as the trunk being slightly misaligned! DOH!). I have an alarm with the trunk release feature on it. Then alarm button works but the release handle from the inside of the car does not. Does the trunk cable connect to the trunk release actuator installed for the alarm feature??? Any ideas?

probably tweaked the release when you hopped the curb. check the wiring as well as the cable the runs from the driver to the truck. use the FSM for help on wiring and location and such.
