S13 wiper Intermittent stopped...will not work.need help

hello all

here is my situation...
my 91 240 has wiper intermittent problem...it works sometimes and then sometimes does not..

I recently finished a 90 240 and it worked for a couple weeks and now the intermittent does not work at all on that car either.

I have swaped wiper stalks cause I have a few around and that did not fix any of the probs...I checked fuses relays and have had no success...its seens from talking to a few customers that this is a common prob.

any one with expericnce please help me out

thanks

JIM

Swap the wiper amp, green box in the driver side corner of the engine compartment. That usually takes care of it, all 89-94 models use the same unit. If not, it's the motor, but I've only seen one dead/bad motor in thirteen years of fooling with these cars.
People will say it's a ground or wiring problem, ignore them. The wiper motor grounds through the chassis, the amp takes it's ground through the chassis harness inside. If that was the culprit you'd have nearly everything else electrical giving you problems.
