New bolts for the pressure plate might help, as well as the rear seal for the tranny, since the driveshaft will already be out.
A few tips: When I did the clutch I dropped the transmission during one afternoon, then had the flywheel resurfaced the next morning, and reinstalled the tranny that afternoon. It helped keep things in a time frame that wasn't too rushed. Make sure to remove ALL the sensors (especially the crank angle sensor on the top of tranny on the driver's side). The crank angle sensor was enough to make taking the tranny down SO much of a pain. For removing bolts, a universal 3/8" or 1/2" joint (the kind that allows you to get at bolts at an angle) makes things so much easier.... as well as long ass extensions. Dropping and reinstalling the tranny required tilting the engine. We did it by first placing a block of wood at the front edge of the oil pan and jacking it up slightly, then unbolting the exhaust at the second cat (only cat on S13's) and pulling down on the header/ primary cat. That in combination with rotating the engine a bit was the only way to fit things in. When I did it I followed the FAQ on the 240sx.org site, so whatever I didn't post here should be on that FAQ. Good luck!

It's not really necessary.... I'm not sure how much the clearance differs between S13 and S14.... but it was just a "trick" to get a little more room to slip the tranny back in.
It was a bit less complicated to do that than to unbolt the front crossmember to lower the engine a bit, though....
