Requesting S13 window switch wiring diagram

Okay, this is the deal. My GF bought me a S13 window switch as a gift a year or so ago. I have a S14 so of course it didn't fit. I've been too busy to sell this S13 switch and buy a S14 switch but I'm sick of not having windows that work and I don't care about ghettofying my car so I want to put the S13 switch in my S14. I have the wiring diagrams for the S14, but I need to know which pins on the S13 do what

Looking at it straight on it, the female portion with the pins looks like...

Code:
| - - | - - - |
| - | - |
The - signifies a pin and a space means there's no pin in that position.

I'm going junkyard diving for one later today but if that falls through I want a backup plan.

Thanks for any help.

So you have a window timer, but just the wrong switch?

I don't know if telling you the color of the wires will help...

The FSM will tell you diagrams for both. If you own a 240 you should already have one anyway.

I have the switch off of a S13...

I've looked over the wiring diagrams for the S13 and S14 and each color performs the same function... The only problem is they don't show WHERE on the S13 switch each wire goes. It basically looks like...

Code:
b w/r g r bl w
| | | | | |
______________
| |
| Switch |
| |

Not exactly that but something similar. I've found someone on eBay with the switch and wires for sale but I can't tell what goes where from the pics. I've e-mailed him and it looks like he might be able to tell me tonight.

At the bottom of each page is a pinout of the plugs in question. They're also labeled by number to correspond to that pinout.

Uhh, I can only find the pinouts for the S14 switch. Little help? I'm looking on BF-17 and see nothing that uses the 7 pins I noted in my first post.

The only way it would match is if I turned the D8 upside down. The pinout on the the S13 switch would then be...

Code:
47|563
-2|1--
Can anyone confirm?

I've got it down to two potential pinouts -

Code:
Black Red/Black | White/Black Red/White Blue/Black
         Blue/White | White/Red
OR

Code:
Blue/Black Red/White | White/Black Red/Black Black
              White/Red | Blue/White
Anyone?

Okay, I see what you guys were talking about. I didn't realize that S14s could come WITH power window but WITHOUT power locks. This means that the main "switch" on BF-17 is the wiring I need. Thanks for not making me figure this out on my own. Made me a little more knowledgeable.

Bingo. Now, don't you feel hardcore?

Seriously I would have helped more, but I don't have an S13 FSM handy, and my car is a 98, so the 95 switch pinout isn't in my FSM.

Okay, I hooked the switch up by soldering it and they still won't work. My amp looked okay when I checked it earlier so I think a fuse may be blown. I looked in the FSM and it shows a relay and a fuse between the window switch and battery. I found the relay in the footwell but I can't find where this fuse is. Any ideas? I checked EL-191.

Searched and found this:
http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothrea...postid=3477876

Which doesn't help.

Crap, my sunroof is now stuck OPEN! I leave for school in a few days, can anyone help?

Okay, found a P/WINDOW fusable link in the fuse box under the hood, i'm going to replace it and hope for the best.

I think I wired it incorrectly... My passenger side doesn't move, and whenever I try to do "down" with the driver's side it blows the P/WINDOW fuse. I heatshrinked all of the wires but I double checked them as I soldered them. Will this ever end?

I'll gladly stop posting if someone will show me where these wires go. From what I can tell the wiring that I've tried (from the S14 FSM) is NOT correct for my S13 switch. Surely someone here can help me out?

Can someone PLEASE confirm that this is what I'm looking for? I found this in the S13 wiring diagram that someone posted in a different thread.

I wired it up according to the diagram above and now when I try to move the passenger up and down it just clicks at the amplifier... Passenger shows no signs of moving either... any ideas?
