Question SR20DET Rod Bearing Applications

Hello everybody,

Was wondering if anybody out there has ever rebuilt an S13 SR20DET. I am in the process of rebuilding one, but needed to know if there is any american counter-parts for the following: Rod Bearings, Main Bearings, and Thrust Bearings. I have heard that the 91-94 Sentra SE-R main bearings works but that's pretty much it, also wondering if anybody knows any aftermarket bearing shops that might carry these. Any information on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i have. i used stock parts in a S13 drag buildup.(it was just a piston and rod motor)

Use ALL bearings from a 91 sentra SER sr20de. this means crank main bearings, rod bearings, and thrust bearing. all bolts are the same as well, rod bolts and head bolts. main cap bolts are supposed to be stronger. you can get the main cap bolts from nissan motorsports. Use a STOCK headgasket whenever possible.
