What's the quickest way to switch wheels if you have sideskirts?

Hahaha what an embarrassing question, but how do all of you who have sideskirts switch wheels at drift days?

Do you actually take the time to remove the skirts, jack up the car, mount new wheels, lower car, and put the skirts back on?
That's what I do but I'm curious if there's an easier way that doesn't involve removing the skirts.

I know some people drive the rear up on ramps and jack it up by the diff, but I don't think I could fit ramps or a jack under the rear bumper.

Basically I'm just trying to get an idea of what others do, if it has to be the "hard" way then so be it, but if there's some kind of trick then please tell me.

And no, drifting without sideskirts is not an option! Haha.

Matej, don't worry. I'll be at the drift events I'll simply pick the car up while you change the wheelz. DUH! (Good question imo)

Take two 2x4's. Place under rear wheels. Drive up onto 2x4's.

Jack from the diff and OBVIOUSLY use jack stands.
Fast, simple, cheap.

I just use wooden planks that are like 5 inch wide and about 2 inches high.

The ramp is about 5 feet long and I have another one that I nailed on top of it that's about 1 and 1/2 feet long.

Then I make an angle at both ends and that's how I drive up on it to get enough space to jack up the car.

I jack up the diff on the rear side and in the front I jack it up at the subframe thing behind the oil pan.

Or you could just jack it up from the tow hooks.

Someone posted a very good idea.

if you have two jacks, You can raise the car slightly by jacking up the tow hook. At which point you can then slide a second jack under the diff and proceed to jack the car up safely.

Or............

You can save yourself the trouble of bringing three jacks with you and just drive your car up on the ramps. Then jack it up from the bottom.

Geez people I believe with close to 20 events I've got this figured out.

Smart. I used to use stock jack to lift side up then use a real(?) jack to lift car, but I think I'll just bring some 2x4's!

yeah the ksports are beefy as hell, if i had a total track car, i'd be rocking those bad boys, plus they arent too expensive either roughly $330.00, and they are lightweight too, only about 5lbs...

rofl.

nobody uses jackstands to change wheels.

I don't even use them changing wheels on the trailer.

you're not going under the car.

you aren't gonna die if you don't absolutely suck at cars.

use the tow hook on the rear bumper. its easy to get a jack that far under.

Or buy low profile ramps. There used to be an Ebay seller who had them for $49 a pair. Lightweight, ABS plastic, easy to carry and store in the car.

Super low profile jack right under the diff.
Or regular jack right behind/underish the rear bumper on the support.
Works great.

Hmm tow hook sounds like risky bizniz, I'd be worried about bending something, I'm going to try 2x4's since that's the second cheapest method haha.

fuck.

Do I have to do a write up on this shit?

Like a step by step procedure on how to make wooden ramps because some kids didn't take wood shop in school?

Air jacks? Seriously? Your going to spend all that money on the jacks, labor, and a portable air compressor? Just to look cool and save your self 5 mins of manual labor? Gtfo

Geez.
