Can you use some mods for the 240 on the Frontier?

Well my friend recently bought a 1994? Frontier with the KA24DE in it, b/c he recently totaled his other truck.

He says his truck needs more power and he wanted me to ask if mods would work on his car that were made for the 240? Ex. Headers, pulleys, ECU, ect..?

If any of yall have any input please let me know thanks.

headers are chassis specific, you can't even swap S13/S14.
the truck ECU is different.

A pulley might swap.

He should've bought a V6 truck

yea he should have bought the V6 but he has a mr2 turbo with a JDM 3SGTE motor with about 300hp at the wheels that he is trying to get finished and paid for. Sometimes you take what you can get.

Actually the KA motor in the trucks is not drastically slower (Frontiers/Xterras etc.) than the V6 models, when those models come fully loaded. You might miss out on some towing capabilities, but the KA is defiintely a solid motor.
