SR Q45 test ideas???

Well i Was needing some ideas on how to test a q45 igniter chip/aka power transistor I have searched for q45 fsm and I have one for a sr20det on cd... but its junk.Short from pulling over a running q45 I'm out of luck.

theres a continuity test for the sr ignitor in the sr fsm. you need to figure out which pin on the q45 coresponds to the pins on the sr ignitor (find the q45 wiring diagram. there is one on heavy throttle's site) then use the continuity test from the sr fsm. fairly straight forward.... good luck

I'll have to get a book type fsm bc the cd one takes 5 min to scroll to a new page, I will start looking for a q45 wiring diagram thanx +rep

just curious, is the Q45 ignitor an upgrade? can it be used for motors other than the sr?
