s13 89 240 wont start

just bought car and windows did not work so we pulled the door panels off to check the amp and found out that harness was not plugged in. we plugged it in and windows went down and never came back up. well now the car will not start. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

check your fuses including the fusible links. Unplug the power window harness in that door first though. It sounds like there's a short.

How long has the car sat? Have you tested the battery? Does it want to turn over? Is your clock on?

everything works just wont turnover at all. i would say it is the starter relay but i cant find the damn thing! and i did disconnect the harness afterwards. thanks

it was a fried ignition switch. found out after replacing a couple of relays and testing the starter.
