first off, I did the swap, engine seems to be running ok.
but know my abs light is consitantly on. i was wondering if the wire to the light got cut when i did the under dash plug from the ecu to the dash. i wouldnt think that the abs wire traves through the ecu since it sould have it own computer.
I checkd the connectors on the control module under the hood and they are all hooked up correctly.
any ideas?

another thing, is that in 4th gear and revers, once in second, sometimes it returns to neutral. does this mean that one of the syncroes is bad on the trans. arent they double synchro?
it goes into gear fine, and no weird noises come from trans. but when thier is not any consitant power applied to the tranny in 4th of course, sometimes it will pop out and go into neutral.
it happend once in 2nd gear in the last 200miles i put on it, but about 6-7 time in 4ht gear.
Revers only happens when i put it in gear, but once pressure is applied, it stays in.
anyone know what it is?

okay...i'm ditching my FWD SR powered car specifically because of the FWD tranny issues (gear poping out grrrrrr...damn 5th gear) So this thread particularly worries me. Anyone knows what might be going on with the tranny, i'd like to know too.

As for the ABS light, not to insult your intelligence but are you completely full with brake fluid?? =P That's all i can give ya on that one...check the brake fluid.
