Arrow Powered By Max radiator...

I just bought a Powered By Max radiator(s13 sr), and a breather tank(for radiator). I did not want to spend 300+ for a koyo and wanted a breather tank too. So I thought I would go a different route.

I already bought the stuff after a little research and talking to Powered By Max on the phone. I have not seen any reviews on their radiators and wanted to know if any of yo have one on your car.

Any feedback is welcome, thanks.

I bought the rad.(s13 sr, theare all $200), breather tank, 2 meters of silicone hose, and a drift button for $312 shipped.

They are cool people, helpful on the phone. I will be getting a cage, and ALL the suspension they have in august.

Thats an oil catch tank with an extra barb fitting.

that won't work for a swirl pot or expansion tank.

if you put that in your cooling system your car will overheat.

throw it away.

PBM stuff seems super strong and legit, some buddy's i know run it and they have nothing wrong on their cars.

One thing i will say is i want that mad angle kit that they have to offer. Tires almost go to a full 90 degrees

Yeah, you need an adapter for the lower radiator house to hook it up there. You hook it up to the bleeder screw hole, to the regular overflow on the radiator itself, and then to your overflow tank. It self bleeds your coolant system so you dont get airbubbles, making you overheat.

Good info. I wondered how they worked, but never took the time to research it. I may pick one of those up at some point. So it needs to be hooked to the lower hose AND the bleeder hole, or just one or the other?

both,

connect it to lower hose...to bleeder hole..nipple on radiator and to over flow...also in order for it to work properly the tank need to be higher than the radiator....making it the highest fill point. i have a greddy one....and it makes life easy when u need to bleed coolant
