s14 auto to manual swap cuts off 2500 rpm

i blew my motor and threw a 5 speed in as well. now when i rev it it acts like its hitting a rev limiter or fuel cut off at 2500 rpm. wtf is wrong.
also i deleted every egr and emissions item i could including pcv. i welded the ports shut. so i dont think it has a leak.

sounds like mafs man. Usually when theres something wrong with the mafs, it goes into a "safe mode" or something that usually won't let you rev past 3k or something. Check the wiring.

yeah that sounds like its in safe mode. Swing down to Oreilly's and have them put that shiznit on the code reader.

Easiest way to find the problem.
