Will these rims fit my 240?

hey ppls, a co werker has a 99 accord with some 17" 5zigen f15 rims on his car and hes changing and he wants to sell them. They're 17x7.5 with 225s and kuhmo tires all around. 4 lugs, but 8 bolts so it will fit civics and preludes as well. well hes only gonna sell it 2 me for $500 and i don't think thats expensive for those rims and tires. Do u guys think it will fit? Is the price ok?

You better try to test fit them first, because if they are fitting the Honda Civics, then I don't think they will have the correct bolt pattern for your car.

Yeah it should fit if it's 4-lug universal. I would test fit to see if it looks good.

yes, they will most likely fit especially if they are universal 8 holes, that's what mine are.

the 225's are fine. so are the rims. the only issues will be if you want coilovers (too high offset...probably +38 or +40) or Z brakes...there are very few wheels that fit Z brakes. you might be lucky, but it's just something to look out for.

personally, i would be asking the question: "yeah, they're cheap, but do they look good on my car? what do they say about me as a driver? is this the best way to spend $500?"

personally, if those were being offered to me, I'd skip it and spend $300 getting some Azenis or Kumho MX mounted on my stock rims...then save the $200 towards a nice shock/spring combo. or blow the $200 right away on some sway bars!

but i digress....

They will fit but you probably wont be able to run coilovers with them.
