With the stock injectors being 270cc and upgrading to 370 cc, you would need to make a 37% increase of area in the maf. 37% of 270 makes about 100 which is the amount of cc's added. I measured the stock maf to have diameter of 3 inches. This gave me an area of 7.065 inches squred. 7.065 inches squared is 63% of the area we wish to obtain. So the area we want is now 11.214 inches squared. I then found the diameter of this ideal area to be 3.75 inches.

So in conclusion 370 injectors with a 3.75 diameter hacked maf will balance out the pulsewidths correct? How does this setup idle? Sounds like it would work fine at WOT.

One more thing, I can't find a compressor map on the ct-26 to figure out how much cfm flows at 10psi. I'm guessing because it was a stock turbo.
Wow.... stock S14 MAF has an ID of 2.5". Stock S13 MAF is even smaller.... I'm running like a 2.6" MAF to "tune" it rich, while Orion on FA is running a 3" mild steel exhaust pipe as his MAF body. Both of us have beat on our setups and are both running strong after some initial troubles (not fuel related, though).

Ace- Yeah sorry about that. I had taken wrong measurements and my math was off. I caught that thread on FA and that helped clear up some stuff. I also had someone explain it to me so I'm good on the info for now. But, updates are always a plus. I still have one doubt but trial and error on your part is helping out the process for future 240 turbo enthusiasts.

sorry i only have some old pics of my car found here http://www.geocities.com/driftingboogie/april52003.htm ..some small details about my setup.. i have an ATX transmission, yes that's right. its been rebuild and shotpeened by level10 and i have an upgraded torque converter from them too. i wanted that sequential shift kit thing, but that was just too much. im on stock injectors, 2nd gen rx7 fuel pump and maf, a rising rate fpr from vortech 12:1 *running kind of rich for me so i might swap out for a 8 or 10, everything internal stock except for some steel forged rods and pistons from JE and a new headgasket, mazdaspeed motor mounts, 1.6L sohc *yes my car is SOHC too* underdrive pulley, gude custom camshaft, stock cam gear, b&m transmission cooler, ported throttlebody, angled butterfly *weird mod my friend did, but worked nicely at the time*, ported intake/exhaust valve ports, 3 angle valve job, ported header ports, custom manifold mated to a rather medium-sized T3 turbo, a spearco FMIC with the coldside endtank relocated to the top, 2.25" coldside piping, 2" hotside piping, hks SS bov, 2.5" downpipe ran to muffler in engine bay and dumptube out of the side of front bumper *and no it doesn't sound like **** it sounds perfect.. reason for this is weight reduction for exhaust rear piping and so there was more weight up front*.. oh and btw, did i mention my car's curb weight was around 2500 stock, but is now 2377? pretty good eh?

a rather simple turbo setup and very similar to what my friend wants.. mostly because this setup was very reliable and cheap.
