Rear main seal help...
anyone know from which usdm car is the rear main seal interchangeable for the s13 blacktop? Been searching and only see the 93 - Sentra Ser works for the redtop but that why im asking. I only see it specifically works for the redtop but not to sure if it works for the blacktop. Has anyone use it on the s13 blacktop before? Please let me know asap.

SR is an SR in RWD configuration. If it fits the redtop bottom end, it has to fit the blacktop.

Hey guys i went ahead and bought the rms from the nissan dealer near my place from a 93 nissan sentra Se r. Here is the picture of it, the Se-r is on the left and the oem sr20det is on the right, it has the same diameter but different thickness. Does it matters? Anyone that bought the rms for the Se-r for their redtop or blacktop, can you guys give me some input on this.
thanks again in advance. ![]() ![]() |

im at work so I cant see the pics but as long as the seal is the same diameter and seals it will be fine.
thickness doesnt really matter, it just might make it a little bit tricker to remove it when you replace it again. Just dont knock it all the to the back, postion it to where the actual seals lip sits in the middle the the end crank.

Yes, as long as it's flush against the crank and fits snug in the recess, the thickness isn't a huge concern.
