Howdy, I'm new here.....

I feel stupid asking this but the automatic transmission fluid dipstick isn't in plain view in the engine bay.

Where is it or how do I check the fluid?

Also, I get this loud clunk from the rear end whenever I get off & on the gas really quick, or when I put it in reverse. It feels like the rear axle is shifting forward & back :P
Any ideas what the problem is here? Thanks

first download the fsm next go to the passenger side and look down there should be a dipstick there

the clunk is the worn out subframe bushing that need replacing

Agreed. Subframe bushings are toast. Replace those and that "clunking" will disappear! You'll have better launches also

Get SPL Soild Bushings....STAY THE FUCK AWAY From Subframe Spacers.....

I've Installed SPL SB On 2x S13 And Don't belive the hype of " they are bitch to get them sit inside the SF)...it's Easy...(with proper tools )

Found the dipstick.

Now where can I get those bushings? I checked on Egay and no luck....

Ebay is not the only source of parts. Try harder.

Don't by Powered by max or other Shit...SPL Service IS the Shit....kuah is the man...

Ahhh those SPL bushings look ballerstatus - but do you think those are a little extreme for a daily driver? I will not cheap out but this isn't exactly a racecar, it's an automatic after all.... :P

I've used Energy Suspension bushings with good results before. Anyone have experience with polyurethane bushings?

What about just the inserts? Seems like a half-assed alternative? But looking for opinions.... Thanks again
