Greddy turbo timer problem

I bought a greddy FAT turbo timer and had to hardwire it, 92 240sx coupe, because the previous owner cut off the pig tail. I used a volt-a-meter to check all five wires running to the ignition at every single position of the key in order to find out which one was the constant 12v, acc 12v, and the ignition 12v.

I started the car and everything seemed to work fine but the turbo timer will not keep the car running. It accumulates time as I drive and as long as I don't remove the key than it will count down, but it will turn off when I remove the key.

Any and all advice would be helpful.

i have the same timer. and also hardwired it myself. it can be very frustrating. i ended up wiring two of the wires from the turbo timer to the acc ignition wire. works perfect now
ill look in the day time and see which color wires they were and get back to you

I found that the white wire was the 12v constant, the blue wire was the acc, and black with red stripe was ign.

I don't have the e brake wired in.

It is just getting pretty frustrating, I checked the continuity before the and after the solder points to make sure there were no shorts and everything is good.

ok bro. my greddy timer is on my 97 eclipse. i wired the green wire from the turbo timer to the acc wire on the ignition. (and i had the problem your having) so.. i found another wire on the ignition side which only lite up when the ignition was on the "on" position. kinda like having two acc's. i hard wired those two "acc's" to the one solid green on the timer. try to find another wire that comes on when the ignition is on the "on" position with a test light. hard wire those two wires like i said and bam! that should fix ur problem. i know this sounds a little confusing but it worked for me.
