s13 Problems with 91 240 (key stuck/motor troubles)

I have two problems.
Problem 1:
It's an automatic still and that little button on the automatic shifter broke off. So I tried to move it but it wouldn't budge even with pressing the pin down so I accidently snapped the lock on the shifter. Now my problem is I can't get my key out even when it's in park. I know my manual doesn't have the lock - is there any easy way to disable it so I can get my key out again.

Problem 2:
It's pretty cold up here in phila. Ever since it got cold my car started doing this weird thing where sometimes it runs really rich and won't start up easily without me kicking the gas the whole time. I was thinking maybe I got some gas with water in it or something and it's coming up now. All I know is that earlier today it was misfiring everytime I let off the gas. It worked fine after that for a little bit now it's doing the same start bit again though. I didn't have this problem until it got cold outside however it might just be that something broke because of the cold. My coolant temp sensor is pretty new so I don't think it's that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I have to get my car inspected soon. I also heard not to use fuel injector cleaner on the 91 240 because of the type of injectors (same with the max). Well thanks in advance.

the lock assembly is the same for both manual and automatic so just unplug it in the steering wheel column. ill check which plug it is.
have you tried the manual release by the key?

Yea that's what I was talking about. The manual release won't release because the shifter never fully locks in park. But I know my manual doesn't have that so it confuses me how it's connected. If it's just a plug, that would be sweet. I looked under the shifter but couldn't find anything that looks like it'd release the key so any help would be greatly appreciated.

there is a tiny lever right next to the black button. that button is connected to the solenoid that locks the key. you can see it in this picture. i dont know what the lever is for though.

the plug is circled in red. the white thing with the 9116 is the solenoid. in manual cars this is not plugged in. i assume unplugging it will release your key.

i dont know anything about auto cars so i dont know if it will work unplugged.

or pull the relevant fuse
