I filled my shit up with coolant earlier and noticed coolant dripping on the ground. It's coming from a little hole in the bottom of the water pump. My guess is this is some sort of freeze plug or what? I don't think it's threaded. There's nothing is the FSM about it either....any insight?

Its the weep hole it means the seals are worn out in your waterpump and Needs to be replaced.

So you need a new waterpump.

Is it an sr or KA, i can get the SR Water pumps for 50 bucks brand new if you need it.

just replace the water pump, it literally took me 20 min to do mine. iirc the fan blades are 10 mm, the water pump to front cover are 12 mm's dont forget to bleed it properly. enjoy.

20 minutes per bolt. and 2 days to bleed.

why do people have so much trouble bleeding?

maybe it's the way they do it? do you guys drain coolant from the drain plug first or do you just take the pump off and replace it then fill up with more coolant without draining completely?

Is your climate control set to cold or hot?

I've never had a bleeding problem.

ur doing it wrong. for the fan, take 2 10 mm, one to hold the fan, the other to loosen the bolt. once the fan is off, if it takes you longer than 10 seconds for each 12 mm bolt, you seriously need to stop being a girly man. i will give you that bleeding our cars can be a pita, one of these would help methinks Greddy Radiator Breather Tank: S-Type Cap 8mm Diameter Hose swirl pot?
