any one know what can cause a tapping sound on a ka and how much it cost to resurface a flywheel ??

well.. since you are EXTREAMLY discriptive..

it could be a number of things.

what is this "tapping" noise? where is it coming from. when do you hear it.
are you sure its not the timing chain lashing around? is it a doch or sohc?

you need to let us know what is going on.
is it turboed? is it na?

and for the random question.
i cant imagine it would be more than 20-40 dollars at a car quest.
