I was wondering is anybody going to Hyper-Fest at Summit Point. Im going b/c its only an hour away. There is going to be drifting and some driving schools so i guess it will be cool. BTW about drifting do you think it is catching on a little 2 fast. I mean i knew it would come some day but when you step out of your car and some guy with a civic asks you that Do you Drift and do you have SR20" you know its bad. All the exposure I hope doesnt make it too big like neon lights. I just dont want anybody trying to drift on PWC PKWAy and hit somebody and than all people blame street racers and that crap. I want to go up there and try it maybe as an 18 b day gift. But ohh maybe this is too long but anybody going to Hyper-Fest or thinks drifting might be exploded?

I'm going to try to go.. but it all depends on if I get all my current projects done in time.

I am trying to go to but I dont know if I could take my miata out on the track since its a convertible. I know a miata maybe I should try a SR20 swap. haha. But yeah I live in PWC S15 so its not that far from my crib. I hope its good I think im going to go if i can make it b/c I missed Charlisle I agree that drifting has came out of wood work too. BTW Civics cannot drift seen it tried 2 many times.

Civic placed second at the last hyperfest here on the east coast. The guy was connecting drifts. I think it was left foot brake while right foot flooring it with a touch of ebrake.

I am finishing packing right now for this weekend.

Every Mag. has a pic of those two red/orange and white cars. The Supra with eyelids and the 350Z with the "Type R" spoiler. It hasn't caught on at all where i live though. Probably a good thing, even though there is not really a "scene" here. Unless you guys know something more than me about my locale. I to am largely ignorant. But that is perfectly fine. And "Gosh darn't I love myself!"

is hyperfest this sat. if so ill be their to watch and see what it is all about. ill be in my redneck nissan truck!

hope to catch up with some of u. my old house is about 15 min from their and where i live now im about 30min from their. so its no big deal for me.i still have to get tags and insurance for my 89' 240. Drifting has been big here in my town for a while now. ever since a certin movie came out! lots and lots of street racing at night here, but its more for bragging rights than anything elese. we should all meet up somewhere inside. what ya thik!?

Im heading out to Hyperfest tomorrow..Sun 7/6. We're going to see my friend's friend run his M3. Is the drifting just on Sat or is it on sat and sun???
