yup the speedo is off.. but i couldnt care less bahahha

4.3 final gear is perfect for my bone stock KA!!
the car FEELS lighter and quicker!

yeah i'll be there in October, probably w/ dorifto as well. might have the new paint job/body work as well..we'll see..im torn right now hahaha..

hmm.. we started at about 10.. we went home at 5
i got approximately 15 runs on the main course.. i want to do more but i ran out of tires..so oh well
15 runs --> 3 in a row... chill for 30 min.. 3 in a row.. chill.. 4 in a row.. chill.. 3 in a row..chill.. 2 in a row.. no more tires.. go home

it was at a dog track parking lot.. it was huuge.. no curb but there are a couple of poles..

course layout

surface.. rough asphalt.. kill tires pretty fast

registration: 20 bux for a whole day.. (this is drift practice)

are you going to drive down here? quite a long road trip if you ask me hahaha

yeah drive of course.
i dont drift other people's cars. haha..so uncomfortable. maybe if they have a brix in like mine does (will have my own shortly)

yeah me and dorifto180sx should (not sure on him..school and all, i can get off from work no problemo) be driving out there..leave like friday, party w/ ruf (and reflex girl) sat and drift sunday leave monday back monday night.

itsa long drive but never been there. should pack a lot of water.....hehe..

see if i can get y car worked on and repainted/body installed by then. HMMMMM. should be pretty dope if i can

I dorve Bbandit's car twice around the main track and it actually handled VERY nicely. Power delivery was very smooth and the fact that he had big fat grippy tires on front really helped.

My car, on the other hand, was a little bit harder to control at first. when you hit full boost in second gear the tires would instantly light up and at first I spun the car every time. Then I figured out throttle modulation and fluid motions of the steering wheel and was able to drift the entire track in one mad long drift all the way from the first corner to the little S turn in back. However, by the time the car got to the back section, the tires had been smoking the whole way and were like butter and I never did pull off a drift around that corner and maintain it to the second half of the course. That section was too tight and slow and there was a very intimidating pole there just waiting to meet with my car...

Overall, this was the coolest thing I have ever done in my life. the track was well set up, the people were all friendly, I was there with some good friends and I had an absolute friking blast. I cannot wait until the next one.

Must get more rims and tires.....

btw.. thanks for letting me drift your car (240_keyy)..
at first.. i was affraid of the boost.. but then.. i just nailed it.. his car ownzzz!! especially when the bov screams around the corners..
hahaha..

but yea.. derrick will have to come with us in every drift practice..
i learned A LOT from him yesterday.. the way he drove my car is just unbelievable...

the drift practice was unbelieveable. Even with stock suspension it was still pretty fun(but overall it sucked). I should have 4 extra tires for next drift practice thanks to keith. I am going to start ready about techniques to get better. One thing that I really loved about the practice were the other obstacles were you can practice technique like donuts, an oval, left and right handers. Man I can't wait for the next drift practice I should do alot better because I am going to have my tein he on by friday.
