ok.
you live in NY, so I think it's safe to say that you're NOT buying a 180sx.

Rule 1. No matter what you do to it, it's a 240sx, be proud of it for what it is.

thanks for correcting me on what car im buying , i think i would be lost without you , but doesnt that hatch have a few names, such as 240sx, 180sx, S13 hatch , RPS13, 200sx , im 99% sure that they are all the same body style and can be used interchangbly to some extent , although why normal ppl would like to call their hatch a 200sx i dont know but i have seen it publicized as such ...again i thank you for correction ..but im not a newbie to the silvia world , ive just been on vacation thats all

hatch is usually called:

rps13
s13
fastback
hatchback
200sx
240sx
180sx

but here in USA its best as:

s13
fastback
hatchback
240sx

now if you say 180sx body, i guess that's ok
chassis is s13, but in japan s13 usually refers to silvia s13

anyways..its complex. just go fastback/hatchback or coupe depending on body style
haha

too many!

Tein He's are a popular setup. Tie rod (upgrade), control arm (upgrade), and sway bars are some items to look into, but then again, depending on how hard you want to drive and other things I have not mentioned.

Depends on available funds. Some do the 1992.5-1996 300zx 30mm Iron calipers instead of the alum.because of warpage. Price with hardware like stainless steel lines, MC, pads, calipers, rotors, and the screws and bolts will run around $450-$600 for the front end.

diffs
Phantom Limited Slip conversion, or the Kaaz, R200V, or J30 which requires some research.

Whoa Nelly! There CA, SR, RB, a chevy V8, again its all up to how much you have to put into it.

240sx and 180sx are different cars. Do not use the terms interchangeably (even if you have a motor swap, body whatevahs). It gets confusing and is innacurate.

Regardless, name the motor and you can probably put it in a 240sx. If you feel like being different and innexpensive, your only real option is the CA18 (another relatively direct bolt in). Others will require more work and effort.

Yeah any motor can fit into any car pretty much...if a 383 stroker fits in a crx (i've seen it), then you can shoehorn a lot into a 240sx (try a jet engine or a radial lycoming, i haven't seen those yet). my physics teacher was gonna buy a kit to swap a rx7 motor/front end into a probe, would have cost like $15K, i told him to just spend all the money on the rx7 and forget the freakin probe...sorry for the rant.
