Rail and the return..... On our system, the fuel is regulated on the return flow side after the fuel is injected into the rail.

I think youve got your fuel flow backwards man. The return should be the fpr side. so youd put it where you currently have the fuel filter drawn. A lot of people mount the regulators on the strut tower or similar. You'd take an adapter for the fuel rail/stock fpr, and run a fuel hose to the fpr then the return line.

I just went nismo and threw a guage right above the fuel filter. threw up a crappy pic for reference, you can see where the fuel filter line goes under the rail and the fpr outbound line goes elsewhere. i know my bay is flithy, parents live on a dirt road and i just dont care, lol.

Geezus.... Fuel enters through the fuel filter to middle of the rail and returns OUT of the FPR back into the tank. If you have an adjustable FPR, then you REMOVE the stock FPR on the FRONT of the fuel rail, put a fitting there with a hose, attach to the aftermarket FPR to that hose and route back to the hardlines.....

This is just Replacing the stock FPR, it ain't rocket science... sheesh!
