need stance coilover repair
The dampening adjuster knobs on both of my front coilovers (stance gr+pro) are frozen. I bought them from FRsport and contacted their customer service only to have them tell me to contact stance. I emailed stance using the email on their website and they haven't responded. Has anyone here had any luck, if so what did you do? This really sucks considering they are less than a year old.

U guys never had any luck contacting them? I bought my stance gr+ pro from Enjuku Racing and after like a 1-2 years don't really remember how long but it started leaking oil so i called up Enjuku and they contact Stance for me. So best bet, call the person you bought it from and tell them to contact Stance for me you. It is easier that way, i got my new strut in like 2 weeks.

i use a little plastic baggie and ziptie to cover up my adjuster on my coilovers
this keeps shit from getting up in there and causing problems. been doing that for years. never had any problem. even when i had my stances |

yup, thats a smart thing to do. Its so easy to get crap in there and any amount will mess it up.

i would think a plastic baggie over the end would trap moisture in and wouldnt hold up, but its a good idea and worth a try. I will apply this when I get new adjusters

Man. I was thinking of getting some of these coilovers but you guys are putting doubts in my head now. Less then one year and you're already having problems. I hope this is just a tiny group of the many that ride on Stance coils.

What about some kind of lube/protectant or the like?
You should still get yours replace, but would it be a good idea to use some grease on them when you have new ones?

I've been busy and haven't tried calling them yet. If i get ahold of them this week i'll let you know. As for keeping the new ones from seizing up again I think i'm gonna fabricate some kind of rubber cup from old parts at work, fill it with chassis grease, and then hold it on with a hoseclamp or something.
