I am going to replace my oil filter and I did some research and saw that thread where some guy took apart like 3 different ones and showed that the stock nissan one sucks.
Anyway my question is which is the biggest filter that would fit an S13 SR? I don't exactly know what is what =/
Which filters actually fit on SR's? I'm thinking like the SR on a sentra, or a 300zx.
idk can someone help me out?

Is this just for an SR20?
When I was checking them out online, it kept asking me which car it was for and I didn't know. Can like any 300zx filter fit, or do I say Sentra SE-R?

k&n filter #1003, atleast thats what i like. plus much easier to remove for people without oil filter relocation kit.

what about for a s14? PH6607 is the fwd sr20 filter Knn

Well I'm actually buying oil for engine, tranny, and a filter from AMSoil because I know they are 1337 and I need to know "which car" I need a filter for. But I'm stumped. I know the SE-R has our engine, but is it the same filter? And I was thinking that a 300zx turbo or non(?) would be better and bigger, but I'm just not sure if it would fit :P

Really? Come on. This is an easy search. Even a google search would solve this.

For an S13 SR20 (red and blacktop) use a 91-94 Nissan Sentra SE-R.

For an S14 SR20 use a 95-98 200SX SE-R.

I prefer good ones, so I'd recommend K&N/Mobil 1 (same filter internally), Wix, Napa Pro Gold or Purolator Pure1 oil filter.
The best one however is an Amsoil EaO filter.

Thanks, I've always kind of thought this but you posted assures me. But I thought a long time ago I read that a certain year or model of 300zx filter bolts up perfectly? I can't remember any details and I can't find it again, but I was pretty sure they said that. =/
