Installed my coilovers the other nite
Heres a pic of one of the rears, I didnt get a chance to take a bunch of pictures, was more in the mood to drive it around. They are gp sports, the spring rates are pretty stiff, but i found it very streetable still. Maybe after time I will get sick of very stiff suspension, who knows
*Edit- Tryed linking the attachment as a picture, didnt work, One forum i went you could do it, was very handy, didnt have to click the attachment button

It feels really nice, corners much better than before, now i need to get the rear adjustable arms, and i want some different wheels with better offsets, but those might wait untill all other suspension stuff is done and maybe just get spacers for now, the sunken look just hasnt grown on me, hell i dont think it grows on anyone. I believe the coils are the gt-four?? model, i thought i remembered seeing that on the box, anyhow the link for the coils are right here...
http://www.gpsports-na.com/suspension.htm They arent dampening adjustable, but that option really wasnt an issue. I feel really happy with my purchase, and i live in a small rural area with no nearby autox, etc, so one setting is all i need. The closest track is probably atleast 3 hrs away For the rear adjustable arms what you do guys recommend getting first, the toe correcting one, or the camber? I dont have the extra cash at hand for both, thanks

I might be wrong about this but it said the spring rates were 10k/12k right? so that would mean those coil overs have a really rough ride? how are they when you drive over pot holes and bumps?

yes spring rates are correct, i do not try to drive over pot holes, when i see them i avoid them, and bad bumps suck, but like i said i live in a small rural town, i know all the roads, and where all the nasty spots are in the roads, I avoid them, its that simple, if you know there is going to be a 2 foot pothole, avoid it, right?

valving
the compression and rebound of the shock if it is tuned well with the spring rate the coilvoer will ride very smooth example: talking with benson and his 10/8 coilovers the valving is well matched, he said the coilovers are VERY streetable nadine and her cuscos and LOTS of people i've talked w/ about cusco, VERY smooth same goesfor HKS same goes for Kei Office, talked with one guy with his XRs, said on the street, it was AWESOME. very streetable coilovers heavily depend on valving. look at HKS drag coilovers, its all about the valving! compression and rebound! |

Yes they arent harsh, or atleast I dont think so, It does bounce alittle over some bumps, but im still playing with the settings to get them where i want them, my g/f doesnt mind driving and riding in it either, so i guess they cant be too harsh. Quick question, what are the extreme positive and neg of the spring tension adjustment, buy this i mean setting it really high, whats the main drawback, and then setting it very low, and again main draw back, thanks.
*Edit- One more quick question, anyone else have these or know anybody that does, I am just wondering if there are any problems that will arise in the future, thanks again
