J-30 lsd in s13?
From what I have read you can put a J-30 lsd in a s13. What I would like to know is, can you put a complete j-30 1995? spendles,springs,half-shafts,ect. in a s13?.Also what is the gear set up? I think s13 is 4.04to1?

J30 final drive is supposed to be 3.9 compared to the 4.08 of the s13. To swap the diff into the S13 you'll need a rear diff cover from an S13 (there's one on your car that would work) and possibly a shorter driveshaft from an ABS equipped S13. It's been said the shorter driveshaft isn't necessary, and people have bolted things up fine with the "long" driveshaft. For my car, I tilted the diff down with some washers between the nose of the diff and the subframe. You can use the half-shafts from the J30. If they're from the later '95's [IIRC] then they'll be the same as s13 half shafts. the earlier models had 5-bolt flanges like the NA z32, and would only be necessary if the diff had 5 bolt flanges.
