Well, I was going to sell my car on the private market, but my car failed smog... It got like 3 times the nos it should have. The guy told it me that it wasn't the fact that I had mods, it was something else. <?> Would headers (they still have the cat) and CAI make me fail so badly?

Ouch.  Did the headers replace the resonator that is at a 45* angle to the ground?  That might be something.
Most importantly, how many miles do you have?

Replace the O2 sensor and try again

I think the resonator is gone. It only has 63k on it.

yeah. my car failed smog HORRIBLY one time it was hilarious how high the ratings were. I had a new o2 sensor put in and got a new catylitic converter and i passed w/ absolutely no problem. if i can find my papers i'll scan 'em and show. its quite funny.
