Thumbs down Sad Day @ Junk Yard Today.

It read "We got Clunkers". I went to the junk yard today and I noticed that the cars that get turned into cash get some type of chemical inside the engine so that you cant use them anymore. We saw a 2j sprayed painted neon green and neon orange. It had a tag on it saying how a harmful element had been added.Sad sad day,are we getting close to the end?

yeah old news.who cares if they kill the KA engines. if anyone trades one in more than likely the engines already toast. To me the body is more important than the engine.

soooo yeah

Even though they put that chemical in there, I don't think they would let you buy it anyway. And was this a turbo 2j or na. If its na, dont even waste the time.

If you could still buy it, buy it cheap and disassemble it and clean that shit out. Rebuild it and make gobs of power.

you tube the cash for clunkers vid. The totally FUCK the engine beyond all repair. they drain all the oil out and they put a solution in (and revs the engine from 2k-7k)that that like turns to glass when heated up or some shit like that.

Too bad the 240's get decent enough gas mileage to pass, woulda been nice to dig through all of the 240 corpses.

they drain the oil and refill with sodium silicate and water, then run it until it dies. you're not rebuilding shit.
