STANCE Waterneck Adaptor Version II
Hey Guys,
STANCE just released a Ver 2 of their Original waterneck adaptor for SR20DET. The new version is bit wider to give additional strength. STANCE uses aluminum for its strength and light weight. STANCE further increases surface durability by anodizing it. ![]() ![]()

Are you sure about that size? That's the size of the wheel stud, that's a HUGE sensor!! Most japanese sensors are 1/8th npt. First picture is with HKS water temp sensor. All the latest Greddy, HKS, Apexi, Blitz gauges all use 1/8th npt.

OR...just buy a tap and tap your water neck...
This raises another question. Is the best location for water temp monitoring at the water neck or thermostat housing? Before anyone answers this too quickly, remember, your ECU monitors coolant temps from the thermostat housing... Also, if you notice most water temp gauges read up to 200F or just over that. I would assume outlet coolant temps, water neck temps, would be just at, or below that, at normal conditions...

It doesn't matter what the temp is coming in or going out. What matters is what the temp is in the head. |

So what exactly is "aircraft grade aluminum?"
Hate that term, because most aircraft don't even use much 6061-T6 that the average aftermarket car part uses.

Do they make something like this for the KA? I have the kind that goes inline with my radiator hoses, but I like the "bolt-on" appeal to something like this for my application.
