Hey guys, I am gonna order an aftermarket elbow pretty soon and I have a very quick question would like to know before I make the purchase.

Below is a picture of a SR engine and I was wondering what is the blue circled part for?
I noticed most of the elbow doesn't have the hole to allow the pipe from this thing to plug in, what should I do about it if I get an aftermarket elbow?

Do I have to mod it to make it fit, or just let it unhook?

take it off its 4 emissions in jap. you could just put a bolt to cap it or go aftermarket elbow. n put some lotion on them ashy elbows lol

So... in other words, that thing doesn't do anything at all to affect our car running?
If I replace an aftermarket elbow can I simply remove that thing completely?
