??

What to do?

Learn to extract every ounce out of your driving abilities with the one you have.

I do fine with what I have..it is not the car, it is the wheelhand and pedal pusher. This is where all the differences are. tools that aid are best understood when you do not have them and you find yourself doing very well.

The car can be improved. I find the cars limits, I balance with the cars limits and my limits with it. The combination is quite surpreme. I have no body or underbody damage and I have over 7000 miles of ralley and close to 3000 in drifting in my 240SX...so find your cars heart and work with and in that realm.

One thing I must say. It is total meaninless to do any car improvement until you fully know the limit of the car and how to work around it. Improvements is starting over with your skills. You may find doing something to the car that makes the car better may make it bite harder and you did not fill out step 1 with enough experience to be able to fully develope step two. If I were give a full blown drift car, I would have no idea how my skills are since they have many many bite patterns I did not take the time to learn in the process. My best speak of this is I keep a stock suspention for my particular series of car. I use stock tires. I put 65 lbs in the back to make it 50/50 weight distribution. I use a passenger of 165 to 180 LBs. I have plenty of power , over 200HP at the rear wheels and I drifted since 1974 in the dirt...so I know how to feel a car out. I put mine in ideal stock conditions with 75% more power and then decided it was time to drift above 70 MPH as a regular thing. I knew I was ready and it was balls out and totally controlled and no dints or dings..I felt it was hanging out way too much because of baby step first trys but actually I got it back from the impossable each and every time so I know now the car and me are one with this level. Any modification to my suspention will mean a relearning at lower speed all over again.
You need to be patient or you will smack your ride up. Even the very best smack them. I will not smack mine as it is disapline at this point.

Can I do fabulous things (to me) with my car? YES..but it took hundreds of hours of careful study to do this and not ever smack my ride..or damage it.

The key is to be patient.

One day, you may see me drift..my goal is to keep the car from being smacked and head to 115 to 125 MPH drifts.
To drift at 110MPH will require RB power SR cannot do this.

At this point, I can only drift in the 65 to 85MPH range with my power. At 100MPH, the drift will go into understeer (regardless of suspention) due to being at power limit before.

I tryed it, I recovered. It was not kind to me..but no smacks...just a very terrible spinout and flat spotted tires.

High speed is so much more fun!

Track only!!

PS..One day, we can have a car that can drift from 10MPH to over 200MPH controlled. That is what will happen to this sport that takes cars out and lives that do not consider all that can happen. I hate smacking a ride. So far the total goal is total control. At the speed you can do with your machine. It is best for the machine to be the limiting factor..stay 7 steps ahead of it.

Their is a game called chess. Learn its ways.

Yep chances are, you have a 91-93 240SX. You got the rims, spoiler, front bumper, engine, speedometer, and steering wheel of a 91-93 240SX. I don't know what other differences to look for. Odd that someone would change the VIN....

Oh yeah i almost forgot. Open the driver's door and check the tag that is located in the driver's door well. It should say the month and year the car rolled out of the factory (my 1991 S13 has a date of 9/90, Sept 1990). Of course, that could have been swapped as well, which would give your car quite the illegal history.
