KYB AGX/Sportlines squeaking??

Hello-

I installed KYB AGX's and Sportlines a few months ago. There has been a squeaking coming from the suspension on the drivers side. I think its the rear but it is hard to tell. It happens when I go into dips, especially at slow speed, and sometimes over bumps. Other times, it will not squeak at all. When I installed the parts, I was unable to reuse the piece that fits over the spring where it seats itself inside the strut, since it was pretty much disintegrated. I was wondering if this could be the cause. Otherwise, any information would be appreciated.

thanks,
micah

Is the squeak like a hinge in need of oil, or is it sort of wheezy? If it's wheezy, that's just the way AGXs sound.

I have the same problem. I installed some TEIN HA coilovers and the squeking started. Kind of sounds like pigeons, Oh well the used coilovers blew about 2 weeks later, so I reinstalled the AGX/TEIN and the sound is still there. I am going to try an spray some WD-40 and make sure all of my bolts are tight.

Will keep you all updated.

I have the noise too, you can hear it while going over bumps and such. I was told that it is because they are gas shocks and that's what they are suppose to sound like when they compress. Either way, it sounds pretty cool. Sort of sounds like a nitrous perge.
