sr20det, hasnt been started in over a year, help

ok, i picked up a 91 240 today that has a sr20det swap, he said the car ran fine and was his daily till he picked up his new car, but it has been sitting for nearly a year. i put fresh gas and a new battery in it, cleaned the plugs, and im about to change the oil, but other than that, what should be done? it turn over stuff, but just wont fire, any ideas? thanks

check for spark, fuel, timing and compression.

It should be fine as long as its been under 5 years. take the valve cover off, pour oil over it, turn it by hand to get all oil flowing, and do what he said ^

well got everything else working that wasnt due to a bad main alt fuse, im getting fuel and air, but still no spark. gonna try to chase it down with a voltmeter tomorrow, and suggestions?

Check the coilpacks against the valvecover for spark to see if they are firing.

no, i have still not figured it out, i had some power coming through the ignitor, but not 12 volts, and only had power when cranking the engine over. and im unsure if there is supposed to be power through it when the key is on, but not turning the engine over, or if its just supposed to have power when turning the engine over
