Resonator and Catalytic for S14?

Does this two have the same bolt patter? Can you bolt the catalytic in place of the resonator? Thanks.

I believe the cat is bolted in and the resonator which is further downstream is welded on my friend.

Was it a direct bolt on?

Yup, i took out my cat and put in a test pipe, and my friend took the cat and put it in place of his dummy cat.

you might need new hardware but I can't be sure because mine was too rusted to reuse.

I'd recommend new stainless hardware and some anti-seize lube.

It is indeed a direct replacement, any 89-98 piece will fit in any exhaust, whether it's a real converter or not.
