i want remove my front emblem along with the rear ones cause i want my car to be plain black but in other threads, i've read that the front ones have 2 pegs holding it onto the hood. nowi don't want to remove it and have 2 holes to deal with so i was thinking on painting it black as well. now how would i remove the emblem without breaking one of the pegs to paint it?

There's no need to break the emblem off to remove it. Just take some waxed dental floss (mint or regular ) and use it to "saw" under the emblem to cut through the adhesive. If you use a heat gun or blow dryer to heat up the adhesive a bit, it should come off easier. After you get it off, just make sure to get all the adhesive off using some goo gone or some other type of solvent that takes adhesives off. Just make sure you're not using something that also breaks paint down! After you've got the area free of adhesive, clean it up really well, then use a good cleaner wax a couple of times, then a polish to help take away the outline. Since you're replacing it, you could skip the waxing bit, but it's good to clean under there, since it'll probably be the only time you do it. Good luck!

Don't paint the emblem :\ That looks really ghetto... If anything, try and find a replacement emblem

Yes you can use the same process for removing the Nissan hood emblem from all year 240's. The Silvia "S" emblem has posts that utilize the same holes that the USDM/Euro Nissan badge does as well as an adhesive backing.
