KA header recoat

i got a hotshot header but its sorta starting to brown up at the bottom connection, and coat is coming off. i was thinking of recoating it, sanding it with sandpapaper. what kind of paint should i use? high temp, any specific brand, tecnique? thanks guys

I'd say sand it down, get some of that header wrap stuff from like Jegs.com or somebody, and they also have high-temp coating to go over the wrap to help it last better, and look good, that way you'll also lower your engine bay temperature !

EDIT:When you insulate your header(s) you also get a better flow rate out of them,and thus a more efficient header

how long have you had them on?? I just helped install some on my friends 89 240sx...we only ran it f or one night and the paint is already starting to come off...

Just sand it down and use BBQ paint. I would stay away from wrapping headers.

Wrapping eats headers, have someone sand blast them clean and go to kragen and get some 1200 degree spray paint with ceramic. You'll be good.
