I have been having trouble with my car ever since install. It runs but runs very rich. So the other day I decided to remove my harness and resolder it.

When I got to the o2 sensor wiring there is a wire on the inside with shielding wire on the outside. I figure that the ouside shielding is not to be soldered into the the other wires. I think the outer is for static electicity to be picked up and taken to the ground.

Does anyone know this for sure?

I think these wire were soldered together before and hopefully this will fix my problem.
