How much hp would you gain if you put in a computer chip lets say from Jim Wolf?  this would take of the rev limiter too right?

If it's just intake, exhaust, and header, I wouldn't say it would give up much power. However, the rev limiter would be removed and the speed governer would be gone. However, if you get cams, a bit of engine work, that would make great use of the retuned ECU and make the mod worth while with the reprogrammed fuel maps and all that good stuff.

I agree w/ Takumi... but IIRC, all JWT set ups are reprograms.  IIRC, the ECU isn't "chipped" like some, but either uses a daughter board or some other bridge?

I got my JWT ecu upgrade after I got an intake and catback exhaust, and I noticed the most power from the chip as opposed to the other 2..  Yes it removes rev and speed limiter too..

That's what their "core charge" is for. You pay the core charge and they'll provide you with an ECU. I hope I'm not mistaken. You can pick up an ECU off a crashed 240SX and send it off to them if you want, thus avoiding their $300 or so core charge.
