Well anyways, me and another anonymous Freshalloy member were racing some stangs and i blew my tranny. Broke a shift fork and it got stuck in 5th gear, so as you can imagine, taking off in 5th isnt very good on the clutch, so my spec stage 3 is completely trashed. Did i mention i was 350 miles away from home when this happened.

i managed to get the car back to indy and got it all fixed

On a good note, i already have the new tranny in (thanks to works yamaguchi) and my car and it feels alot crisper than the old one

no because i mis shifted twice, but the ass whooping was on the way, i had a pretty good lead on them till i had to shift outta second and missed

well the tranny sucked balls anywyas, it was blown and rebuilt again. eventhough i am a professional racer

you just cant help it when your equipement sucks, somebody mentioned it coulve been the redline MT-90 i was using too

i have pictures, i will post them soon and you can see the carnage

the US nationals are here every september, i have yet to go but i hear its the loudedst, craziest thing you will ever experience in your whole life

I have been blessed with Atco Raceway being a stone throw from home, so every summer I look foward to that wonderful smell of sizzling rubber and pure fauking speed...

I love sitting next to pits as pro racers roll past after a burn out and you can hear those big ass bags stick to the asphalt...

top fuel cars will blow your damn mind for sure when they run and you're only a good 30-40 yards from the track. bring earplugs and if you'll be walking through the pits don't walk near any of the nitro cars when they've been run. if you inhale/get any in your eyes it's the greatest pain you'll ever feel, your throat/sinuse burn like they're full of acid and your eyes do the same. i randomly caught a cloud of this while i was walking through the pits about 5 minutes after a crew had fired their engine, very unpleasant.

the one i was racing was a slightly modded 1999-2003 (not sure what year) 4.6 GT, 5 speed

it usually would be a pretty easy win, but i suck

oh and to be vague. my 240 has a KA-T
