I get these all the time from my local Nissan dealer. It's just a marketing gimmick.

i know its just gimmick to get me in a lovely 2011 nissan cube lol, but just curious, did/do you drive a s14a?... because it says "specific pre-owned vehicles" and "..intend to obtain several pre-owned 1998 nissan 240Sx vehicles by september 6th.."

They probably want cars that have a high resale value to them.

They sure as hell aren't going to be trying to obtain primered s13's, and some beat ass zenki's.

Mostly cars that they can, 'sell'. Which in our case would just mean Kouki's; or so I would think.

I just called Valencia Nissan.. I was "curious" about this special buy back..
Spoke to David and they will offer little below "trade in" value based on vehicles condition.
There is no way in hell people will sell their S14a for $3000 or less.. FUCK THAT !

Its a gimmick....all dealerships do it.........I was in sales for 4 years...

We pull all customers info from our database.....parts/sales/service

Then there all mailed out via computer.....

You can asked to be removed from the mailing list.....

Remember if you buy my car at full price...then I will give show you 5K trade in value for your 1K car... Its a numbers shuffle game....

if you had an 88 altima and you were in the records you'd get the same letter but it'd say 88 altima.

They just change the template around with a different vehicle...I have a S14b (96). Business wise it's a smart way to get foot traffic on their dealership on Labor Day weekend. Let's just say I still have my 240...

And yeah, the koukis have that "newer" styling making it more appealing to the average consumer buying it for looks alone. which is why i bought one

i just thought that nissan was on the hunt for koukis which is why i posted
