car wont start, but starts when i disconnect and reconnect the battery

in the last month ive already ran into this problem about every few days where my car wont start.. but the weird thing is, once i disconnect my battery for few seconds and reconnect it, it starts fine. then maybe a day or two later it happens again and i have to disconnect the battery and reconnect it to get it started again

does this sound like a problem with my starter? my batterys only about 2 years old. is something draining my battery?

(the only thing i can think of is my car alarm, or my HIDs?)

I had the exact same problem and I thought it was my alarm too. It was simple as my battery terminal had a loose connection, even when I tightened it I could still wiggle it, but once I fixed that I haven't seen that issue since.

Taking off your terminals doesnt charge your battery so nothings draining it. Check the wires for the + - of your battery make sure they aren't corroded and then replace your terminals they're only 5 bucks.
