Bought s14 from Chris "milano" Kregorian d1 drifter

Hey Guys i am new here and I desperately need your help. While I was deployed to Iraq I bought a s14 with sr20det from the pro d1 drifter Chris "milano" Kregorian and got more than I bargained for. Chris told me that all the car needed was corner lights, power window switches, and those were deffinetely not the only things the car needed. This car is a nightmare compared to what I was led to believe. The motor has a boost leak, vacuum leak, oil leak, starter problem, and the wiring is completely shotty. Nothing on the front end lines up, the interior is missing a ton of stuff including the right carpet, air ducting, seat belts etc, and the list goes on. Bottom line is I was really excited about getting a 240 that I had to buy the car sight un seen and Chris "Milano" Kregorian took advantage of me. I will post pictures and tech questions tomorrow. Please guys help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im not gonna be an A-hole like some on here but if you didnt look/test drive the car before you bought it, it is your fault. fix it/sell it and take it as a lesson learned.

Youll go through more headaches if you try and get a lawyer and all that. Btw usually cars as sold AS IS and ur stuck with what you bought.

A coworker of mine bought a miata and the motor blew on the way home, asked for his money back, didnt so took him to court and the judge told him exactly this " used cars are sold AS IS ,too bad" plus he paid a decent amount on court fees.

anyways good luck, maybe try contacting him to see if hell help you out.

Sorry to hear it but exactly what do you expect when buying a drift car from a dude whose name sounds sorta like klingon....

You would be better off to strip it and get a straight chassis......

I did some google for you, though I think you should have done it BEFORE you bought the car...

You would think a D1 driver would be half decent enough to not lie or scam others, otherwise he would ruin his reputation. You would think a business owner would show at least some respect and professionalism towards customers, but no, a simple handshake was ignored. You would think he'd have some sympathy towards someone who is serving our country. Well, you did think, but not hard enough.

In buying a necessary product or in you case a car in which you can not see in person, get pictures and videos. Do some research on the seller and get and idea of what you may be possibly getting yourself into. But really, Google his name and it's the first link that comes up. Needless to say, we don't know how much you got the whip for, but the amount is surely more than what many of us have in our bank accounts.

This situation can't really be helped. It is what it is, so take it as a lesson learned. Sorry for your loss.

In conclusion, I'm sure many of us are curious as to how much you got it for.

If he is that really old looking fellow that looks like the Sith Lord from Starwars, i believe he competes in Formula D.

You should try to contact him, seeing how he owns a shop, and work it out. Was it bought as a drift car? I suspect a problem of communication and misunderstanding what the car was when in the purchasing phase.

good luck. I hope you can work it out.

First of all Om1Kron I don't think you have any Idea of what it is like to serve your country and be gone from everything you love for over a year but thanks for being a dick. Second I wasn't asking for anyone to panic with me all I am asking for is a little help on some tech issues etc. I paid 5000 for the car and 500 for the car to be shipped. I did do my research on him and his shop and I read the same shit but I had alot of conversations on the phone with him. I asked him for pictures and he sent me ones that had all the flaws hidden. Also, I am not planning on selling the car Because I want to keep it as a project car. The point I was trying to make is that I need ur guys help on fixing this car and that Chris "milano" Kregorian kinda jipped me. Thank you to all that guys that are being supportive. p.s. Yes it was an impulse buy and I am kinda an idiot but when your gone for a long time you do crazy shit.

Well, that's not apparent from your original post
sounded more like you were whining and looking for sympathy after making a series or stupid decisions
when and if you have concrete technical questions that can't be answered by searching
we'll be glad to answer them

Alright guys I am a noob in this community but my first concrete tech question is that I have some kind of boost or vacuum leak that is creating serious lag around 4000rpm. It is like the motor wants to go but something is holding it back big time. Now there is a pcv hose coming out of the valve cover that doesn't go to anything does anyone know where it goes? Also, there is a piece of rubber with cracks in it and a hose clamp capping off an outlet on the wheel well side of the intercooler. what is the reason for that and could that be one of the problems. PLEASE BE EASY ON ME GUYS

That goes on the intake side.People usually put a catch can attach to that. But thats not the reason why your car is bogging. Try cleaning the MAF and TB, maybe the IACV also. those are the common causes of car stuttering. Could also be a faulty fuel injector.

Check TPS voltage, to ensure it is still good. My car acted the same way and the TPS was way way way bad. There are write up on how to check the voltage and what the voltage should be.

I cant quite till what that is but is it on the intercooler pipe? if so, thats more then likely your problem if it has cracks.

almost sounds like a boost leak.

You're welcome, My father, uncle and that branch of the family all served in the military, my grandfather in world war II. I personally have no desire to join the military but I respect the fact that's the path you chose.

If you want to make that an excuse for impulse buying a car, then don't drag the "i'm military so it's ok for me to be a dumbass". Because There are plenty of people who are out there serving thankful they have another day of life, rather than worried about what impulse buys they're going to make when they get back and then complain the world isn't fair to them because you served the country and now it's not giving you handouts for the rest of your life.

moving on.

I would chalk that up to you still being under 25.

As far as everyone else with the responses directly to me about being mean, quite frankly I hate these fucking threads. I pay money for premium membership and I help any and everyone who needs help, you shoot me a pm it gets answered right away. I barely just stopped letting people contact me by aim, I contribute back to the community what I can. But this thread reeks of I bought a car, I don't know shit about it, someone do the work for me and help me get revenge on the guy that "fucked me" into buying this car.
