It's also all about what wheel/tire combo you run. But all 3 of them will go plenty low enough. I have PBMs and I've never had to remove collars.

out of the box, stances don't go low for fucking shit. i have 17's all around (with bubble tires :\ ) and i pulled 1 collar and AM STILL BARELY TUCKING TIRE

can't tighten spring perch either unless i want preload

i think its tiem to flip the bracket and pull another collar

u must be doing something wrong.... i have 17s up front with max camber like -4 or something and if i put one collar underneath of the bracket (not flipped) i can get within like half an inch from the rim. and maintaining a slight preload (no droop)

also, wheel's aren't flush. Theyre like 1.5 inches sunk cause my works havent come back from getting fixed (never had a chance to put em on)

also, preload - i called stance and asked them what to set it as and they said nothing, just tighten by hand and then 1/4 turn. What does preload affect since i hear ppl adding it and shit

You spin the top collar (spring perch) and spin it tighter and tighter therefore giving you more height adjustment for your bottom bracket to go higher.

Pros: Makes your car look sick
Cons: Makes your car ride like a go-kart

Stance plus $40 shorter spring they sell/regular PBM go lowest. What other coilover have you seen can make the front fender touch the lip of a 17x9 +15 with a 215/40?

This is as low as Fortunes can go, flipped bracket and all.

They can't go as low as the others, but can definitely go low. 18's in the front.

Edit: I'm talking about the front, rear can drop forever.

in my sig is as low as my stance's will go in the rear...it's literally perfect for a s14. I just hope you don't have an exhaust....cause I had to take mine off just to drive the car.

no removing collars/ pre-load blah blah blah...just lowered the heigth...everything else is still set up for drift.

and just lowered the front last week....still have about half an inch before having to remove anything else....i'll take pictures and post them up later.

i indeed have an exhaust, its a straight though so no worries on that. but idk man, before i took my collar off, i wasn't any where near low enough. I think i need to buy those fucking "shortening springs" stance offers. Such bullshit, they should include it.

i know how to adjust pre-load, i just wanted to know the effects it had other than go-kart ride quality (full dampening to stiffest)

I can't wait to have 18s so I can tuck some more tire and not have to worry about running my bumper over when it falls off due to roaddot carnage. The roads are so different here compared to ohio, everything is flat and fairly smooth but theres drainage lines for flooding on some streets so I have to plan my routes to avoid that nonsense. ohio = pothole central.
