Octane?

Rb25de....what octane is needed to run it in North America? 94 octane I assume from the one and only Sunoco.....please answer before I e-mail motorex. thanks

i imagine a non turbo engine like that would be fine on 91 octane

91 would probably be fine but i would probably put 94 in anyway

this would be a waste of money. you could run 87 octane in the car if it does not detonate. if the car detonates then you need a higher octane. putting 94 in a car that could run 87 without detonation is a waste of money.
