Anybody actually open for ordering parts?

I am trying to order one of the fuel rail adapters to -6AN line so I can run an external fuel pressure regulator to the stock fuel rail, and so far I have called Phase 2 Motoring and FRSport.com with everyone out of the office and no one to take an order.

Anyone know who is actually answering their phone to sell me a part. My car is down and I need the part quickly.

Maybe Jegs or Summit would have a part like that? They usually have a ton of those universal fitting type parts... not totally sure how universal what you need is, though, since I have never used an aftermarket fuel rail before.

this is just the standard stock SR20DET fuel rail adapter to fuel line in place of the stock FPR...

Both are small companies with small staffs. I ordered parts from Phase2 a year ago and the had some trouble with the parts. Needless to say Alex made sure to take care of it, and while he was not always by the phone, he did return my calls.

Try shooting them emails and give either company 24hrs to get back to you.

Jegs + Summit rock as well, hard to beat these megalithic venders in turn around and price.

Ah ok, my bad. I wasn't sure what you were talking about. I bought a polished cnc one of those from a vendor on the forums here that was making them... I'll have to see if I can dig up the info on that.

I'm guessing that they are all gone for SEMA, correct? Since it is Friday anyway, it seems like waiting until Monday to get through to them wouldn't delay things too much in the grand scheme of things. Good luck though, man!

hit up 240sxmotoring.

OR

find a local speed shop and have them weld on a steel -6 fitting on the rail.

I don't want to order something online through a website where they aren't answering the phone because they may be out of the office for a while and not shipping electronic orders, which would prolong my car's down time.

Yeah, unless your stock fpr is dead, it's not preventing you from getting the car running or anything.

travypoo thank you for the pic

I don't understand why people have to bash me for wanting to order a part quickly. As a paying customer who wants to get their car fixed quickly, if you aren't willing to help me, just leave me alone.

FYI, my car wasn't running right after turbo, ecu and injectors installation, so I sent my ECU to Enthalpy for checking the tune and he confirmed it was right, then suggested that there could be a problem with my FPR. I found that a problem with the lines that ran to my FPR, and figured I would replace the FPR and redo all the lines at once. So it did put my car temporarily out of service and it is my daily driver.

Your not paying us, nor are you paying the fucking web-form. You are whining. You have spent two or three days whining. If you where in such a rush, you should have bought the shit on ebay and paid $20 shipping to get it over night.

here's a suggestion; don't turn your only mode of transportation (aka daily driver) into a project car. Especially if you don't have the patience or resources to keep it maintained.

1. No I don't pay other forum members to give me advice, and those who have a poor attitude I wouldn't pay even if they did have the answers. Life is too short to deal with such antics.

2. Everybody has to start somewhere. No I don't know much about the 240sx world yet, and people who look down on newcomers like me who don't know as much, well, I will be just as happy not to associate with them as they will be happy to not associate with me. I have been around long enough to know that there is always someone out there who is faster, richer and has less to lose in a fight, so I will choose not to communicate a condescending or insulting retort. I have enough trophies from road racing to completely fill the interior of a 240sx, but I don't need to go around showing them off and I won't be the one who is a narcissistic predator to others 'who are as much of a winner as me'.

3. Of course I am aware that SEMA is going on, but where I work we don't send the whole staff to tradeshows; we have staff in the office to take orders. If business stopped every time a tradeshow was on we would never get anything sold. I would have been plenty willing to place an electronic order with any of the online vendors if I had confidence that one of them was going to ship it in a timely fashion even though they weren't answering their phone; hence the reason for this thread in the first place.

4. I am new to the 240sx world so I am not fully familiar with the SR20DET but am learning quickly. I have worked on this car (which I have had only a couple of weeks) and probably will work on it more. This repair screw up of missing the vacuum line was my paid mechanic's mistake not mine, and I will forgive him since everyone makes mistakes on occasion. I prefer to daily drive this car instead of my other truck or SUV. I am a Director of a global audio equipment manufacturing company so my time is valuable and I don't have enough familiarity yet with the car to work on it. I certainly do possess the resources to pay for it to be done well. The last car/toy I built put out over 400 pounds of torque off idle on pump gas and I drove it to work every day--often with the top down.

Assuming that there will be dealers back in business tomorrow and no one could tell me who was actually shipping out orders before Monday then there is no more reason for this thread. I appreciate those that tried to direct me towards vendors who are reliable.

Hmm Washington, global audio equipment manufacturer. You don't work for Mackie, do you? Just thought I would ask since you mentioned it.

You have to understand the forum is littered with kids , who want everyone else to do the homework they should be doing themselves. Lots of already answered questions, lots of stuff that is in the archive and faq section. It happens so much that when a post like yours comes up peoples first reaction is well damn didn't you know.

Because of that senior forum members can get annoyed, when someone comes in asking a very basic question.
Most of us have dealt with or even know some of the people at the companies you mentioned, so we sometimes take this kind of stuff for granted. Especially around the time of SEMA.
Or in the case of the companies mentioned they are not as large as people would think. Though if they are still around then they are good.
(last statement made because in the current economy a lot of companies have gone under)

Its like lots of people being out of the smaller audio companies offices for NAMM or AES( which I wound up skipping this year).
You see the same kind of thing with the boutique Analog Synthesizer companies. etc....

It just so happens that Garage Autohero, where many a drift car is built, happens to be across the street from Mackie's corporate headquarters...it is quite convenient. And Mackie is just one of our many brands...

Likely many would expect that a guy who has white sideburns like a doctor on TV and wears suits everyday would be driving a new leased BMW. Well, I would rather drive a street legal race car. I never grew out of it. That's why I bought a 240sx setup for autocrossing, and before I had it a week I was already installing a bigger turbo on it. Heads and cams will be next...and that's probably just the start.

And regarding our industry, AES is populated by geeks mostly (no offence to the geek community intended). I think the boutique analog stuff out there is generally pretty cool, especially in their industrial design. It's been 2 years I think since my last AES show (New York). And I am scheduled to be at NAMM in January...

Again, my gratitude to anyone who offers me assistance.
